Description:
This request is used to set the authentication level. If the administrator password is set, all the
administration messages will be enabled for the client. The authentication is required for all
those messages that will change the configuration and status of the device, as config_input,
config_output, config_misc, reboot, recall_preset, etc.
The default value of needack parameter can be set up here. There is an attribute called
needack for all the requests that have no reply message to receive as a result of the request.
With the needack attribute the client can request an acknowledge reply to the request. The form
of the acknowledge reply is the following:
<ack request="{tag_name}" />
where the tag_name is the name of the request in relation to the message is sent back.
By default, the ack message is not sent. If the need of acknowledge is requested here, the ack
message will be sent as a reply for the following messages without further needack setting.
Attributes:
version: protocol version
mfg: manufacturer of the client program
prod: product info of the client program
rel: release number of the client program
Elements:
username: administrator username (Fix: “Administrator”)
password: administrator password what must be an md5 hash string (32 hexadecimal
digits)
needack: global parameter for ack request

Description:
The DIMAX server sends this empty reply message back to the client.

Description:
The query_device_info request is used to obtain general information on the DIMAX device
