CAUTION
A ThinWire segment must begin and end in a
50-ohm terminator (H8225) as shown in Figure 3–4.
Figure 3–5 shows the DECserver 700 connected as part of a DEMPR ThinWire
Ethernet segment.
NOTE
The DEMPR and DESPR terminate the line internally
in 50 ohms so that it is not necessary to use a 50-ohm ter-
minator (H8225). However, all unused lines on the
DEMPR must have a 50-ohm terminator (H8225)
installed as shown in Figure 3–6.
