The joystick must be in neutral position before transferring control.
3.5.4 Returning to conventional operation
The Optimus 360 joystick control system is designed to work with a variety
of different EST systems provided by different engine manufacturers. Each
manufacturer has a unique transfer routine to switch from joystick control
back to conventional shift and throttle control, shown in the table below.

Move the control head levers out of neutral
OR
Press Take Command on the active joystick
to toggle control back to the control head.
To control head at another station:
Press Station Selector on the Yamaha panel.
