WARNING
NEVER overfill the engine with engine oil.
ALWAYS keep the oil level between the upper
and lower lines on the oil cap/dipstick.
5. Warm up the engine by running it for five
minutes and check for any engine oil leaks.
6. After engine is warm, shut it off and let it sit for
10 minutes.
7. Recheck the engine oil level.
8. Add engine oil (Figure 5-3, (5)) as needed until
the level is between the upper (Figure 5-3, (2))
and lower lines (Figure 5-3, (3)) shown on the
dipstick (Figure 5-3, (1)).

9. Reinstall the oil filler cap (Figure 5-3, (4)). If
any engine oil is spilled, wipe it away with a
clean cloth.
NOTICE
Servicing of the engine oil and oil filter element will
largely affect the engine performance as well as the
engine life.
Engine oil and filter element must be changed after
the first 50 hours.
Transmission Oil, Oil Filter &
Strainer - Check, Clean, Change
WARNING
Hot oil and components can cause personal
injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to
contact skin.
Park the lift truck level, with the forks lowered,
parking brake engaged, direction control lever in
NEUTRAL and the engine stopped.
1. Remove drain plug (1). Allow the oil to drain
into a suitable container. Clean the magnetic
drain plug. Check O-ring seal and replace if
necessary. Remove the spring and the strainer.
2. Wash the strainer assembly in clean,
nonflammable solvent and dry it. Install the
strainer assembly.
