Print Module Calibration - SmartDate 5
Left and Right hand limit switches are used along with a handing switch.
With this printer model the “handing switch” is mounted above the left hand limit
switch.

During calibration the print module is always moved towards the left hand limit
switch.
Dependant on the print module hand, these switches will be activated in a certain
order.
This determines if the printer is a left or right hand version.
The print module is then held at the left hand datum position or driven to the right
hand datum position.
The datum position of the print module can be adjusted if required, (offset) by
accessing a setting on the User Interface screen.
