3. Connect a standard Ethernet cable (not supplied) from the Ethernet port on the Gateway to an
Ethernet access point at the fuel site, typically an Ethernet router (red cable in the illustration).
4. Plug the Gateway power supply into an outlet and into the Gateway's power input.
IP Gateway (Micronode p/n 20-2019-NS)
To use a second Gateway:
5. Connect a 20-1517-01 cable from the second Gateway to FSC3000 serial port 6, the secondary
authorization port (violet cable in the illustration).
6. Connect a second Ethernet cable (not supplied) from the second Gateway to another Ethernet access
point (yellow cable in the illustration).
7. Plug the Gateway power supply into an outlet and into the Gateway's power input.
Other Connections:
8. Make sure your Access Point/Router is connected to the internet (navy cable in the illustration).
9. Make sure your Access Point/Router power cable is connected to an outlet.
10. Make sure the FSC3000 power cable is connected to an outlet.
11. The Abierto Gateway can use a dial-up phone line as a backup if the Internet connection is down. To
use this feature, plug a phone cord from the Gateway into an analog phone line (gray cable in the
illustration).
