Ground all DAS equipment, power supplies and sensor mounting fixtures
whenever po ssible. This is an extremely important step toward ensuring the
best performance from your SLICE system.

lways connect a cable from a

round to the test article, test fixture or
instrumented vehicle. Not only does this help divert potentially disruptive electrical
energy , it is also good safety practice. For remote testing applications, a metal gro und
rod driven 3 ft into the soil can be an effective Earthing device.

Install ground cables between all SLICE Stacks and the test article o r vehicle.
Install ground cables between electrically isolated test article/sensor mounting surfaces
and the SLIC E Stacks.
