The following table indicates the most suitable level of ABS intervention for the various riding types as well
as the default settings in the "Riding Mode" that can be selected by the rider:

1 SPORT For road use in good grip conditions. In this mode,
the ABS works on both wheels. The anti-lift-up
controls are active; this calibration focuses on
braking power and yet keeps good stability under
braking and lift-up* control.
It is the default level
for the "SPORT" and
"TOURING" riding
mode.
2 URBAN For use in any grip conditions. In this mode, the
ABS works on both wheels. This calibration focu-
ses on maximum vehicle stability and lift-up* pre-
vention, yet ensuring performance in terms of top
maximum deceleration.
It is the default level
for the "URBAN" rid-
ing mode.
