Use the ne adjustment menu to ne adjust stapling and folding positions while checking a nished booklet.
When you press the start key of the upstream unit (when a upstream unit is connected) or the key of this
machine (when a upstream unit is not connected) with the ne adjustment menu selected, the machine
enters the step mode. You can adjust [Back Guide] and [Side Guide] while feeding paper. All the defaults of
the following items are 0. Once you change a binding mode or paper size, all the values return to the default.

Back Guide Adjusts the position of the back guide.

Adjustable range: -6 to +6
-: The distance between the back guide and the paper decreases.
+: The distance between the back guide and the paper increases.
Variation per unit: Approx. 0.5 mm/0.02 inch
Side Guide Adjusts the position of the side guide.

Adjustable range: -10 to +10
-: The distance between the side guide and the paper decreases.
+: The distance between the side guide and the paper increases.
Variation per unit: Approx. 0.3 mm/0.01 inch (0.15 mm x 2)
Staple Psn Adjusts the stapling position.

-: The stapling position gets closer to the lead edge of paper.
+: The stapling position gets away from the edge of paper.
Variation per unit: Approx. 0.5 mm/0.02 inch
*When [Side] [CornerF] [CornerB] or [Fold] is selected as a binding mode, the staple
position cannot be adjusted.
Fold Psn Adjusts the folding position.

-: The folding position gets closer to the lead edge of paper.
+: The folding position gets away from the lead edge of paper.
Variation per unit: Approx. 0.5 mm/0.02 inch
*When [Side] [CornerF] or [CornerB] is selected as a binding mode, the fold position cannot
be adjusted.
S/F Psn Adjusts the stapling position and folding position at the same time.
