2.5.4 Height of the needle holders
Standard checking
In looping stroke position the distance between the top edge of the
needle’s eye and the hook tip 2 must amount to 1.5 mm.
The setting is done by means of the measuring bridge 3 (order number
0212 004942) and the measuring pin 4 (order number 0216 001070).
Caution: Danger of injury !
Switchthemainswitchoff.
Check and adjust the height of the needle holders only with the sewing
unit switched off.
Caution: Danger of injury !
Danger of cuts.
Do not reach into the center knife area when working at the needle
holders.

Remove the throat plate.

Move the needle bar in looping stroke position.
–
Put the locking peg through the drill-hole in the machine arm.
The locking peg must snap in the groove of the arm shaft crank.
–
Check the position of the needles to the hook tips.
