A rule of thumb is that DO NOT create more than 9 tiers of ethernet LAN connection vertically.
Diagram below shows an ethernet LAN connection.
On the left side, there are 2 ethernet connection to the wireless router.
Each connection has up to 9 tiers FW.
Same for the right side of the diagram where it is connected to a network switch.
The connection has up to 9 tiers of FW.
