IP Network (Own)
When NO Ethernet or GPRS module is fitted this sub-menu
deals with setting the control unit’s own IP address and
access to the built in web browser interface.
With an Ethernet module is fitted this sub-menu ALSO allows
you to set up the IP address and other parameters for any
attached Ethernet or GPRS modules. These extra sub-menus
will not appear if the modules are not fitted.

IP Network (Own)
For i-on30EX the IP Network (Own) sub-menu allows you to
set up the IP address and other parameters for any attached
Ethernet or GPRS modules. This control unit does NOT have
a web browser interface.

Downloading
Deals with setting up phone numbers, account numbers for
the downloader, and controlling the type of connection you
wish to allow.

Note: Eaton’s Security Business do not recommend using the i-gsm02 for Fast Format
communications. The GSM network introduces too great a variation in the delay
between signal and response. Tests carried out by Eaton’s Security Business show
that different cell towers from the same providers give different results.
The control unit is designed to alert the user if it fails to complete a programmed
communication. If alarm reporting fails then the keypad displays an alert by lighting the red
LEDs around the navigation keys. Although the user may acknowledge the alert, the
control unit will not remove the alert until communication is completed successfully.
If you wish to remove a communications module from a system, ensure that you first
disable communications in the appropriate menus:
