This section is divided into two parts:
• The rst part describes maintenance proce-
dures.
• The second part describes troubleshooting
procedures.
Preventative maintenance is the key to a reliable,
safe and efcient actuator. The core of any preventa-
tive maintenance program is a list of periodic tasks.
Note:
The monthly and yearly lists are for average
intervals. If your environment is dirty, then the
intervals may be shorter.
1. Inspect the actuator for physical damage to
the housing or display.
2. Inspect the coupling for loose connections.
3. Observe the shaft while moving for smooth
operation.

4. Drive the actuator to its full clockwise and
counterclockwise positions and observe the
