not accepted if products are used which have not been validated!
The metering pump is suitable for clean, non-abrasive metering media with a viscosity of up
to 100 mPas (measuring method: Brookfield).
The EMP IV has been developed, designed and built exclusively for industrial and
commercial use. The system is not intended for private use.
Use as intended also includes compliance with the control and operating instructions
prescribed by the manufacturer, as well as with the maintenance and servicing conditions.
The service life of the metering unit is approximately 8 years, provided the system is properly
maintained. It then needs to be inspected
(followed by a general overhaul, if necessary) by the manufacturer or by a specialist firm.

The metering medium supply must be shut off before any repairs are carried out.
All connection and repair work on the EMP IV may only be conducted by authorised and
trained specialist personnel.
It is imperative that all work on electrical parts is undertaken with the mains plug
unplugged.
Suitable protective clothing must be worn during maintenance and repair work.
Safety regulations covering the handling of chemicals must always be observed.
The EMP IV may only be operated with a 230 V AC supply voltage and a 24 V control
voltage.

to a trained person in the sections on Operation
to a specialist in the sections on Transport, Setup and Installation, Maintenance, and

the duties which are assigned to him or her and about the possible hazards of incorrect use
