6.2.4 Switch outputs SP1, SP2, Alarm message and pre-metering
The switchin
g outputs SP1 and SP2, the alarm message output and the pre-metering
output are configured as potential-free changeover contacts.
Contact bridges can be made between terminals X1/6 and X1/7, X1/10, X1/13 and X1/16
for connecting contacts with the auxiliary power supply.
6.2.5 “VD Start” (pre-metering) input
The pre-metering is st
arted with a potential-free wiping contact (t
in
< t
pre-metering)
between
scew terminals 19 and 20.
NOTE
If a delay time has been preset for the pre-metering, the switch on time of the wiping
contact must be longer than the delay time so that pre-metering can be carried out when
the delay time expires.
6.2.6 “Metering enable” input
The metering enable inp
ut is used to shut off the controller when there is no circulation
(mixing) of the detergent solution.
An external make contact between screw terminal 19 and 21 enables the conductivity
control output SP1. The control function is shut off if the contact is open, i.e. only manual
metering is possible (in the SERVICE FUNCTIONS menu).
If the metering enable should be also active during the pre-metering, the ENABLE ALSO
ON PREMETERING in the CONFIGURATION FUNCTION menu must be set to YES (set
to NO ex works).
6.2.7 Level Input
A potential-f
ree contact (reed switch) or level electrodes can be used to record the product
level in the detergent container.
(Contact closed or electrodes wetted = tank full)
The level input is protected from parasitic induction by electrical isolation. The treshold
level of the level input is set to between 500 Ω und 1 kΩ.
NOTE
If there is a lack of product, the relay output SP1 is blocked, a NO DETERGENT CHANGE
CONTAINER is shown on the display and the alarm message output is activated.
Press any key to confirm the alarm message. The message remains highlighted on the
display until the fault is remedied.
6.2.8 Conductivity probe input
The 7-pole conductivity probe connection line is fit
ted with a round connector.
The basic conductivity probes have a cable length of 0.2 m.
The connection line of the conductivity probes can be extended up to a max. of 20 m.
Three different lengths of measuring line are available: 3 m, 6 m and 20 m
(item no. see chapter 12
accessories).
