7.2.3 Access code functions
The access
code can be activated, deactivated or changed in the ACCESS CODE
FUNCTIONS menu.
NOTE
In INPUT CODE, the ▲▼ keys are used to enter the desired number and the ↵ key is used
to select the next digit.
To activate the code, proceed as follows:
1. Activate the ACCESS CODE FUNCTIONS menu with the ↵ key.
2. Activate the ACTIVATE ACCESS CODE menu with the ↵ key.
3. Enter the desired 4-digit code in INPUT CODE
4. Press NEXT to confirm the code.
To deactivate the code, proceed as follows:
1. Activate the DEACTIVATE ACCESS CODE menu with the ↵ key.
2. Enter the current code in the INPUT CODE menu.
3. Press NEXT to confirm deactivation of the code.
To change the code, proceed as follows:
1. Activate the CHANGE ACCESS CODE menu with the ↵ key.
2. Enter the previously valid code in the INPUT OLD CODE menu.
3. Press NEXT and enter the new code in the INPUT NEW CODE menu.
4. Press NEXT to confirm the new code.
NOTE
The code can be activated, deactivated and changed with the master code 2351 without
having to know the entered code.
If zero is entered four times, i.e. 0000, for INPUT NEW CODE in the CHANGE ACCESS
CODE menu and is confirmed by pressing the NEXT key, the old code is reset and an
active code is deactivated (factory setting). A new code number can be selected again.
