7.3.3.4 Temperature compensation setting
The temperature compensation can
be set for alkaline (1.9 %/K) = ”ALKALINE“ or acid
products (1.25 %/K) = ”ACID“.
The ex-works setting of temperature compensation is for alkaline products (ALKAL). The
compensation value for acidic products is the mean value of H
2
SO
4
and HNO
3.
(1.1 %/K or 1.4 %/K)
Temperature compensation is based on a reference temperature of 20°C.
To set the temperature compensation, proceed as follows:
1. Activate the DEFINE METERING SETTINGS menu
2. Press the ↵ key.
3. Scroll with NEXT key until the next menu is displayed.
4. The setting can be changed with the ↵ key. The blinking value is activated.
5. Press the NEXT key to confirm.
7.3.4 Alarm message settings (ex-works setting in brackets)
7.3.4.1 Alarm message on detergent shortage
This alarm is triggered
when the detergent reservoir is empty. Prerequisite:
A suction lance with an low level sensor is connected. A alarm delay time can be set for the
alarm display and external alarm message (EMPTY DETERGENT DELAY: 0005 s).
The metering (via relay output SP1) is stopped for the duration of the alarm.
The external alarm message is activated after the set delay time and can be confirmed by
pressing any key. The alarm message “NO DETERGENT/ CHANGE CONTAINER”
remains blinking on the display until the container is changed or refilled.
The delay time must be set to a value from 1 to 9999 sec at an interval of 1 s in the EMPTY
DETERGENT DELAY menu. (ex-works setting is 0005 s).
The delay time must be set as follows:
1. Activate the ALARM CONTROL SETUP menu.
2. Press the ↵ key.
3. Starting with the currently blinking digit, enter the required value with the or key.
The next digit can be selected with the ↵ key.
The time can be set to a value between 1 and 9999 sec at intervals of 1 sec.
4. Press the NEXT key to confirm.
