Once access to the Engineering menu is no longer required:
1. Replace the battery cover and the screws should then be replaced to fasten the compartment.
The screws should be tighten to a force of 0.6 Nm to ensure the IP67 rating of the meter is left
intact.
2. Replace the broken black plastic seal with an EDMI marked replacement. This is important to
prevent tamper of the device.
11.7.2 Security Logs
Displays the Security Log stored in the GSME. Most recent events are placed at the top and
Personal Data does not appear." should be changed to "Displays the Security Log stored in the
GSME. The most recent events are placed at the top of the list. No Personal Data is displayed.
Use the left/right buttons to scroll up and down the logs and the OK button to switch between the
event code and the timestamp.
For example:
Indicates the event one in log was GBCS code 3FA3. Pressing the OK button displays the
timestamp as below:
When in this menu, the UI buttons perform the following functions:
Left / Right
Scroll up/down the table. Wrapped.
Holding left/right for one second activates a fast scrolling mechanism.
OK
Cycle between two tables, holding same row position in both at the same time.
Return
Back to parent menu.
11.7.3 Test Valve
This option allows a valve test to be performed. The Test Valve operation will result in an Event
Log entry with User Interface Command Code 0x0018.
