Sense Inputs
The Sense Inputs of the HC6/HC12 are used to conditionally execute macros and to trigger
Event Maps that have been programmed into the System Controller using the ELAN
configuration software. The Sense Input ports of the PPWM connect to the Sense Input
ports of the System Controller using stereo 3.5mm cables.
Each of the six “Room” punch-downs on the reverse of the PPWM provides a connection
point for remotely located sensors. See Figure 5-5 below.
Use Cat5 to connect to sensors plugged into PPRM panels located in zones.
