Relay Connections
The HC6’s 2 relays and the HC12’s 4 relays can be programmed to provide automated
events such as lift operation, screen operation, and drapery control. Connections include
COMMON, NORMALLY CLOSED and NORMALLY OPEN. If a voltage trigger is required, an
external power supply can be connected (as shown on page 24) to the HC6/HC12’s relays.
The Relay ports of the PPWM connect to the Relay ports of the System Controller using
stereo 3.5mm cables. Use Cat5 to connect to sensors plugged into PPRM panels located
in zones.
Note: Only “Room” punch-downs 1-4 have connections for relays. This should be kept
in mind when designing the system. See Figure 5-6 below.
