Probe Placement Jig
An ideal accessory for measuring coatings not only on small or complex
components but also when the highest levels of repeatability and accuracy
are required. Each Probe Placement Jig is supplied with a probe housing
to suit Scale 1 or Scale 2 Straight Probes and a component holder.
Additional accessories are also available.
Jumbo and V-Probe Adaptors
Jumbo and V-Probe Adaptors, when attached to any Elcometer 456 Scale 1
or Scale 2 straight probe, improve measurement accuracy and repeatability

Ultra/Scan probe end caps wear over time and the gauge will inform the user during the
calibration procedure if the cap needs replacing. When tested using smooth surfaces,
probe end caps have been scanned in excess of 50km (30 miles).
Replacement caps are available to purchase from Elcometer or your local supplier.
