Introduction
This comprehensive manual covers all the features
and capabilities ofthe Elecraft K3transceiver. We
recommend that you begin with the Quick-Start
Guide (pg. 4).The Front Panel (pg. 11) and Rear
Panel (pg. 17) sections are for general reference,
while Basic Operation (pg. 21) and Advanced
Operation (pg. 33) fill in the details.
Your K3, including any installed crystal filters
and option modules, should already be configured.
Anytime you add new filtersor options, refer to
Configuration (pg. 45).
K3 Features
The K3 offers a number of advanced featuresthat
