Velocity Clamp (Torque Mode)
Function
A jumper connected between P2 pins 1 and 2 will reduce the gain of the velocity drive to
approximately 3.0 A/volt. The drive will then function as a torque (current) drive. See Figure 2.7
on page 2-9.

External Current Limit (Optional)
Function
This input may be used to set the current limit externally. The following table indicates approx-
imate reductions of peak current when the ILIM potentiometer is fully clockwise (the exact
degree of reduction is a function of the internal current limit). See Figure 2.7 on page 2-9.
