Test Outputs
Current Command
ICMD
This output is the command current signal
to the power amplifier. The scaling of this
signal is approximately
±
3.5 volts =
±
30
amps. This output should be used for trou-
bleshooting purposes only.
Motor Current Output
MCO
The motor current output is an analog volt-
age which is proportional to the motor cur-
rent. The scaling of this signal is
approximately
±
1.75 volts =
±
30 amps.
This output should be used for trouble-
shooting purposes only.
Note: The scaling of this output is differ-
ent than the MCOs at P2 pins 3 and 7.
Motor Velocit
Output
MVO
The motor velocity output signal is an ana-
log voltage signal which is proportional to
the actual instantaneous motor speed. In
the standard amplifier-motor connection,
this voltage is positive for CW rotation of
the motor as viewed from the shaft end of
the motor and negative for CCW rotation.
This signal is identical to the MVO output
on P2 pin 8. (See “Motor Current Output
(MCO 0-10V)” on page 2-15.)
