5.6NetworkConguration
Networkcongurationincludesvesubmenus:network,email,server,NATandothersettings.NetworksettingsmustbeconguredifNVRisusedformo-
nitoring over network.
5.6.1 Network
To set up network:
1- GotoMainMenu Setup Network Networktab.RefertoFig5-23.
2- SetHTTPport.ThedefaultHTTPportis80.Ifthevalueischanged,youshalladdtheportnumberwhentypingIPaddressinIEaddressblank.e.g.If
HTTPportissetto82andIPaddressishttp://192.168.0.25,youshouldinputthefollowingIPaddress:http://192.168.0.25:82intoIEbrowser.
3 - Set server port. The default server port is 6036.
4 - Connect internet. There are three ways to connect internet.

► IfyouhaveaDHCPserverrunningandwouldlikeyourNVRtoautomaticallyobtainanIPaddressandothernetworksettings,checkthecheckboxbeside
“ObtainanIPaddressautomatically”.ThenthedevicewilldistributeIPaddress,subnetmask,andgatewayIPandDNSserver.
►Ifyouwanttocongureyourownsettings,disable“ObtainanIPaddressautomatically”itemandinputtheIPaddress,subnetmask,gatewayIPandDNS
server.
►IfyouconnectinternetthroughPPPoE,disable“ObtainanIPaddressautomatically”itemandcheckPPPoEcheckboxandthenenterusernameand
password. Once the setup is completed, your NVR will automatically dial up into your network.
1-Testtheeffectivenessofthenetworkbyclicking“Test”buttonafteryousetupthenetwork.
2-Ifthenetworkiswellconnected,pleaseclick“Apply”buttontosavethesetting.
Switch IP:ModifytheIPaddressofthecameraconnectedthroughPoEport(eg.192.168.1.1).AfteryouchangetheIP,thesystemwillreboot.Thengoto
MainMenuIPCamera.YouwillseetheIPaddressofthenetworkcamerasconnectedthroughPoEportsbecome192.168.1.XXX.
Switch SubNetMask:ModifythesubnetmaskofthecameraconnectedthroughPoEports.

To set up Email:
1-GotoMainMenu

2 - Set SMTP Server and port.
3 - Set sender’s address and password.
4-Setreceiver’semailaddressandclick“Test”buttontotestthevalidityofthemailbox.
