A write protection switch, which can be used to lock the device against parameter changes,
is located on the basic terminal area in the terminal compartment. When the device is
locked the symbol is shown on the display.
9.6.4 Displaying the locking status

Device properties → Password/reset → Status
Display options
• Unlocked
All parameters (apart from Service parameters) can be edited.
• Code locked
The device has been locked via the operating menu. It can only be unlocked again by
entering the access code in the Device settings → Password/reset → Code parameter.
• Key-locked
The device has been locked via the operating keys. It can only be unlocked again by
pressing all three keys simultaneously.
• Switch-locked
The device has been locked via the write protection switch in the terminal compartment.
It can only be unlocked again using this switch.
