The process transmitter registers one or two analogue
measured signals. The sensor can be a transmitter or a direct
current source. Using the built-in scaling and linearisation
functions the input signals are converted into the required
engineering units. A further process value in engineering units
can be calculated using the functions addition, subtraction or
multiplication. Two alarm set points are available to monitor the
three process values - Set point infringements are permanently
displayed at the unit. The user defines which process values
are retransmitted as a current or voltage signal at the analogue
outputs and which engineering units are to be indicated in the
LC display.
Connected sensors can be directly supplied with power from
the unit.
