5.1.5 Features that do not require an internet connection
Internet connection allows you to experience the full potential of the Envision
Glasses; however, that does not mean you cannot use the device without it. The
following features can operate without an internet connection:
● Instant Text (when the offline mode is activated)
● Detect colors
● Find objects
● Find people
● Explore
● Recognise Cash
● Detect Light
5.1.6 Hotspot
The Envision Glasses can be a valuable tool in various situations outside your home,
workplace, or other areas with stable Wi-Fi connectivity. While some features are
available offline, another way to enjoy online features without Wi-Fi is by
connecting to your phone’s mobile data hotspot.
Hotspot on iOS:
To turn on your hotspot on an iPhone or iPad, complete the following steps:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to Personal Hotspot.
3. Go to Allow Others to Join and toggle the switch to on.
4. Go to Wi-Fi Password and enter a password. This is the password that you
enter to connect to the hotspot.
5. Click on Done. This will bring you back to the Personal Hotspot screen.
6. Below the Wi-Fi password, you will find the name of your hotspot.
7. Connect to your hotspot the way you would to a Wi-Fi network. You can
follow the same instructions shown in the above guides.
