11.6 Software
In the software settings, you can see whether an update is available and install the
latest version if so.
To check your software version or install an update, follow these steps:
1. With the Envision Glasses powered on, navigate to ‘Device Settings’ in the
category menu.
2. Go to Software and double tap with one finger.
3. Go to Check update and double tap with one finger. A pending sound will play
while the device checks for available updates.
5. If an update is available, one-finger double tap on New Update to install the
latest version. A processing sound will play and you will be redirected to the
start screen once the download is finished.
11.7 Time Format
There are two options for time format: a 12-hour or 24-hour clock. To change your
time format, follow these steps:
1. With the Envision Glasses powered on, navigate to ‘Device Settings’ in the
category menu.
2. Go to Time Format and double tap with one finger. The current format will be
read out to you.
3. One-finger double tap to change to the other time format option.
4. Swipe down to confirm your selection.
11.8 Power
The power settings allow you to put the device to sleep, check the battery level, and
access instructions on how to turn off the device.
11.9 Sleep
Besides setting the device to sleep mode by physically folding it, the device can also
be set to sleep mode in this setting by doing the following:
