13. Help
The last category in the main menu of the Envision Glasses is Help. It contains the
Playground, Tutorials, and About screen. This chapter will provide information on
FAQs, how to use the Playground, and how to contact us.
13.1 Playground
The Playground is an area to practice gestures of the Envision Glasses. Here, any
gesture you try will be spoken out and described by the glasses. Not sure what a
two-finger single tap does? Simply enter the Playground and try it for yourself.
To access the Playground, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to ‘Help’ in the category menu.
2. Go to the ‘Playground’ and do a one-finger double tap.
3. The screen reader will announce that the Playground is starting followed by a
sound. After this, you can begin to try gestures.
To exit the Playground, press and hold the hinge button. The available gestures are
as follows: swipe forward, swipe back, swipe down, single tap, double-tap,
two-finger single tap and tap and hold.
13.2 Gestures Training
The ‘Gestures Training’ that takes place during the onboarding process of the
Envision Glasses can also be found here. This training will introduce you to the
touchpad and swipe and tap gestures.
13.3 Tutorials
The tutorials provide an explanation of the Envision Glasses features which are also
presented in this guide in sections 7-10.
