9.4 Detect colors
Detect the color of the object in front of you. This feature speaks out the colour of
the object located in the centre of the camera frame. Use this to pick out clothing,
choose from colors, and separate laundry.
Follow these steps to detect colors:
1. Navigate to ‘Identify’ in the category menu.
2. Go to ‘Detect Colors’ and double-tap with one finger.
3. The camera will be active and colors that appear in front of the camera will
be spoken out.
9.4.1 Accuracy of detecting colors
Color detection is very dependent on environmental lighting. To get the best
results, try to take a picture of the item in natural lighting and hold it against a
white wall or ceiling so it doesn’t pick up other colors in the background.
