6.4 Troubleshooting
Error Reason Solution
It takes the heater a long time to
heat up the cabin.
One or more than one heating element
is defective.
Have a technician replace the tubular
heating element.
There is not enough space between the
stones.
Reshuffle the stones. See

There is insufficient ventilation. Install the air inlets. If these are insuffi-
cient, add a fan to the openings. See
3.1.2 Air inlets and outlets, EN-17
The electrical connection is defective. Check the installation fuses.
Have the control unit's outputs
checked by a technician.
The position of the temperature sensor
is not optimal.
Check the position of the temperature
sensor and adjust as needed. See
3.1.3 Temperature sensor, EN-19
The heater is very hot but cannot
distribute the heat throughout the
cabin.
There is not enough space between the
stones.
Reshuffle the stones. See

The safety temperature limiter was
triggered and the heater no longer
heats.
The STB was triggered by heat accumu-
lation.
Check the inlets, outlets, and the fan
and ensure that the heater has access
to a sufficient amount of air. Replace
the safety temperature limiter.
The position of the temperature sensor
in the cabin is not optimal.
Check the position of the temperature
sensor and adjust as needed. See
3.1.3 Temperature sensor, EN-19.
