Instructions for use Epec 4W30 43
(C) Epec Oy Seinäjoki Finland
− The text HDOut fault 2 in the main display indicates a fault in grapple
output 2.
− The text CAOut fault 14 in the main display indicates a fault in cabin
output 14.
− Possible error and state indications:
00 Output off, no error (for example output number 4 in
picture)
10 Output on, no error (output 16)
11 Output on, error on (output 30)
01 Output off, error on (output 28)
– – Output programmed off because it is not in use (output 50)
− The output numbers correspond to the following functions:
2 = Feed forward 1 46 = Delimbing knives open
4 = Feed backward 1 48 = Urea
6 = Feed forward 2 50 = Tilt up
8 = Feed backward 2 52 = Tilt down
10 = Feed forward 3 54 = Turn left
12 = Saw cylinder 56 = Turn right
14 = Feed forward 4 24 = Back knife closed
16 = Saw motor 26 = Delimbing knives closed
42 = Tracks open 28 = Additional pressure during sawing
44 = Back knife 30 = In reserve
NOTE!
If you want to check possible faults in the outputs, switch them on and
off several times with the manual control keys.
10.2 Sensors
− The function of the diameter sensor can be checked by opening and
closing the grapple. When opening the grapple, the raw reading of
the diameter pulse counter should increase. To same extent the
reading should decrease when closing the grapple.
− The function of the length sensor can be checked by feeding the tree
forwards and backwards. When feeding forward, the raw reading of
the length pulse counter should increase. To same extent the reading
should decrease when tree is fed backward.
Saw limit
00 = Not active
11 = Active (saw in casing)
