12 LIST OF ERROR MESSAGES
− The error messages can generally be reset with Enter, if nothing else
is mentioned, and then the program tries to correct the error.
− The error message can also be reset by pressing Cancel, but then
the error is only by-passed, and it will probably appear again next
time when the equipment is started.
− Measuring equipment can display the following error messages:
ERROR MESSAGE EXPLANATION
Disturbance: length A /
Disturbance: length B There is possible an error in the line of length
sensor A or B. The error is reset with the "Saw"
key, although sawing maybe is not even
permitted. Check the raw reading coming from
the sensor by selecting the "Test/calibration"
key and then the "Sensors" key (the reading
after the character L is the raw reading of the
length sensor). If the reading does not change
or if it changes only ±1 when the sensor is
rotated, the sensor or its connection is
defective.
Disturbance: diam. A /
Disturbance: diam. B There is possibly something wrong in the line of
the diameter sensor A or B. The error is reset
with the "Saw" key, although sawing maybe is
not even permitted. Check the raw reading
coming from the sensor by selecting the
"Test/calibration" key and then the "Sensors"
key (the reading after the character D is the raw
reading of the diameter sensor). If the reading
does not change or if it changes only ±1 when
the sensor is rotated, the sensor or its
connection is defective.
The condition of this sensor is checked only
when the button "Grapple open" or "Grapple
closed" is pressed. In this way possible
erroneous alarms are prevented.
HDOut XX There is either short-circuit or a break in
grapple output no. XX. If the output is not in
use, it has to be removed from the error follow-
up in the "Outputs" display.
