Ifanerroroccursandthemonitoringfunctionofthemodulecannotbeensured,thiswillbe
indicatedbyflashingorswitchedoffLEDsandbyswitchingofftherelevantalarmoutputs.
ConfigurationofthemonitorMMS6110ismadebymeansofalaptopcomputeroraper-
sonalcomputer connectedto theRS 232 interfacesocket onthefrontof themonitor.The
softwarerequiredforconfigurationandvisualizationofmeasuringresultsandstates,aswell
astheconnectioncablebetweencomputerandmonitorare partoftheMMS6910Wcon-
figurationkit.Moreover,thiskitcomprisesthesystemmanualontheCD-ROMwithallnec-
essary information for testing and visualization of measuring results and the states of the
monitor.Theconfigurationofthemonitorisexclusivelymadebymeansoftheconfiguration
software,therearenohardwaresettingsnecessary.
Three different levels permit definition of the access authorization for operation, configu-
rationandforinstallationandtestofthemonitor.
• Accessauthorization"Factory"includesalladjustmentsandisintendedforinstallation
purposesbytheeprostaff.
• Accessauthorization"Service"isintendedforspecialistswhospecifiesandconfiguresthe
monitorfortheactualapplication.
• Accessauthorization„Operation“permitschangingsettingsrequiredforthenormalopera-
tion.
Bymeansoflaptop/PCandtheoperatingkit,theparametersoftheselectedmonitorandthe
measuringresults(includingorderanalysis,FFTetc.)aswellasthestatusofthemonitorcan
bewatchedonthecomputerscreen.
The OperatingKit alsocontains twomeasuringcablesformeasuringthesensor signalsat
theminicoaxsocketsonthemonitorfront.Bymeansofthesecablesthecoaxialsocketsfor
thesensorsignals1and2canbeconnectedtoanoscilloscope.
An RS 485interface(at the deviceconnector) serves theconnectionof themonitortothe
eproMMS6850AnalysisandDiagnosissystemforacquiringandanalysingmeasuringdata.
Themonitorisdesignedasprintedboardinthestandardeuroformat(100mmofx60mm)
with6TEwidth(approx.30mm)andaneloxadizedfrontplate.
The supplyof the monitor requires+24 V,two supplyinputs, decoupledviadiodes, permit
redundantsupplyofthemonitor.
