It’s suggested to test with different trim angles to nd the optimal trim angle for
the boat and operation. Note that the speed should be increased gradually dur-
ing the test, and check if there are any abnormal situations. Stop the outboard
and decrease the trim angle if necessary.
Slight and gentle operations are recommended when tilting up and down.
The trim lever is only used to increase the trim angle from 0° to 60°. If users
want to decrease the trim angle, eg. from 15° to 5°, follow these steps: rst, tilt
the outboard shaft to the maximum angle (60°); then, press the release button to
return the outboard shaft to the 0° position; last, use the trim lever to tilt up the
shaft to the 5° position.
