n Do not place an object on top of the disc.
n When storing, keep the disc in its disc case, and avoid letting film or cards touch the printing
surface. These may scratch the printing surface.
n Do not store discs in soft cases or bags which may touch the printing surface directly. This
may cause discs to stick; may cause color shading or discoloration.
n Avoid storing with part of the printing surface covered, as this may cause smearing or
discoloration.
n Making a backup is recommended if the data is important. It is recommended to make
backups periodically if storing for long period of time.
n Avoid storing in high temperatures and high humidity, which may result in blurriness and
stickiness of the printing surface.
Printable area
The printable area is the area available for label printing.
The printable area can be set from the Set Inner/Outer Diameter screen of EPSON Total Disc
Maker.
In the Set Inner/Outer Diameter screen, you can select Standard, Wide, or set manually.
The following diagram shows the printable area for Standard and Wide. Printing will be done in
the gray area.
