C A U T I O N
The Perfection V700 Photo is equipped with two kinds of
spacers (Adjuster Spacer and Adjuster B Spacer) to adjust the
gap between the Carriage and the Upper Housing Glass so that
the dual lens system function is ensured.
The number of spacers and their positions vary from unit to
unit. Care should be exercised not to move or lose the spacers.

In case of loss of the spacers or accidental removal of them
losing their original places, replace the Lower Housing.
The Lower Housing Assy. ASP is provided with factory-
installed spacers.
The Lower Housing Assy. ASP, however, does not include the following
parts. Remove them from the previous Lower Housing Assy. and reinstall
them to the new one. (Refer to Chapter7 Exploded Diagram on page 84
and Service Parts List on page 89 .)
