Default Settings
This printer has user-selectable default settings that it refers to at initialization. The default settings
(and factory settings) are listed in Table 1-8.
Setting Method
The method of setting defaults is shown in the flowchart below.
ATTENTION
❒ Any default value specified is not stored in the EEPROM until the printer is turned off.
❒ The last default value specified before power off is stored in the EEPROM.

Turn printer power off to save settings to the EEPROM.on the main board

Hold down the Economy /Condensed
button, and turn on the printer.
The printer prints:
1. Firmware version,
Protect counter value A/C.
2. How to set defaults.
3. Current settings.
