5.2.2 PG Adjustment
When any of the following parts has been removed or replaced, this adjustment must
be performed to leave the specified gap between the print surface of the Printhead and
paper.

Carriage Unit
Carriage Shaft
Parallelism Adjust Bushing (Including the case when just moved its position)
In this adjustment, use the same Adjustment Gauge on the left and right sides.

Specified Value: 11.0 ± 2N (7.0 ~ 11.0N)
C A U T I O N
Even if the Timing Belt is flipped, the LCD screen may not
change at all. In this case, flip the Timing Belt again after few
seconds.
If measurement results differ greatly from each other, the
sounds may not be picked up properly in one of the
measurements. In which case, flip the Timing Belt again with
tweezers, and record the value at which two measurement
results are similar. The Measuring Tool has high reliability for
displaying errors in the range from 1/100 to 5/100.
C A U T I O N
Do not touch the Adjustment Gauge Plate surface with bare
hands.
If the Adjustment Gauge Plate surface is stained by ink and
etc., wipe it with a soft cloth.
