5.4.1.2 With the transparent mode application S0502A
The GenPro 25e contains the transparent mode application S0502A, it is waiting for a command.
Connect the RS232 between the DTE (COM port) and the modem (DCE).
Set the RS232 port of the DTE as follows:
▪ Bits per second ..... : 115 200 bps,
▪ Data Bits ................ : 8,
▪ Parity ..................... : None,
▪ Stop Bits ................ : 1,
▪ Flow control ........... : hardware.
Use a communication software like Windows HyperTerminal ®.
Send the AT command. The modem returns OK. For more precisions about the commands, see the
documents " u-blox_AT_Commands_Manual_xxx.pdf ".
In the case where no communication can be established with the modem:
▪ Check the RS232 connection between the DTE and the modem (DCE),
▪ Check the configuration of the COM port of the DTE.
5.4.1.3 The application ERCOGENER EasePro_Vx
The GenPro 25e contains the application EasePro_Vx.
Send the command ATI8. The modem returns the version (example of display)

5.4.1.4 The owner application
The GenPro 25e contains your application.
Set the RS232 port of the DTE according to your parameters (speed, data bits, parity and stop bit).
Check the display and the dialogue with the GenPro 25e according to your own characteristics.
