3.10.1 General Setup: <click> on the General Setup tab and the screen will appear as
shown in Figures 3u and 3v.
Loop General Setup (Figure 3u):
Sample Type: Select from Blank, Soil or Water by <clicking> through the field.
CAUTION: Soil vials may be hot. Use protective gloves when removing
soil vials from the sampling station.

Sample Fill Mode: Loop
Sample Loop Fill Time (sec): Enter the time to fill the sample loop.
Loop Equilibration Time (sec): Enter the time to equilibrate the sample loop
after filling.
Sample Transfer Time (sec): Enter the transfer time to fill the concentrator
sparge tube.
Needle Rinse Time (sec): Enter the time to rinse the sample needle after
delivering the sample to the sparge tube.
Needle Sweep Time (sec): Enter the time to sweep the sample needle after rinse.
Sample Loop Rinse Time (sec): Enter the time to rinse the sample loop after
delivering the sample to the sparge tube.
Sample Loop Sweep time (sec): Enter the time to sweep the sample loop with
helium after the rinse.
Concentrator Desorb Time (sec): Enter the concentrator desorb time. NOTE:
This time must equal the concentrator desorb time.
Number of Sparge Rinse Cycles: Select loop, syringe, or off and the number of
rinses needed.
Rinse Transfer Time (sec): Enter the time required to transfer rinse water to the
sparge tube.
Rinse Drain Time (sec): Enter the time required to drain the sparge tube during
the water rinse cycle.
