2. Analyze the sample by running a water sample on the Centurion with no
internal standard added to the sample.
3. Analyze a Centurion blank that has been spiked with 1µl of internal standard
through the internal standard addition of the Centurion. See Figure 4ap.
4. Compare the results to determine if the millisecond pulse of the internal
standard valve delivers the correct amount of internal standard to the vial.
5. If the time of the pulse is too long (internal standard response too high) or too
short (internal standard response too low), adjust accordingly. See Figure 4aq.
