9.4 Using Command Line Arguments
MDA V8.5only supports a basic set of command line arguments.
Command Line Arguments Function
mda.exe -help
Displays the command line arguments.
mda.exe -restoreLayout
Restores the default docking windows layout.
mda.exe -openConfig:"<XDX File Path>"
Loads a configuration from a file.
mda.exe -addMf:"<Measure File Path>"
Adds measure files to the active configuration. If no configuration is
open, a new one is created.
mda.exe -addOrReplaceMf:"<Measure File Path>"
Adds a new measure file to or replaces an existing one in the active
configuration. If no configuration is open, a new one is created.
mda.exe -importXDA:"<XDA File Path>"
Opens and imports an XDA configuration file.
mdfexport.exe
Exports exclusively signals of data type Event from an MDF V4.x file
into another MDF V4.x file. Can be used as an argument of mdf-
convert.exe and includes Event signals into a target export file.
