TILTING AND TRIM
Tilt Support
If you intend to leave the outboard tilted for a
period of time, engage the tilt support.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT use the tilt support
while trailering. Refer to Trailering on page
40.
Engage
1) Move the tilt/run lever to TILT position.
2) Tilt the outboard UP.
3) Flip the tilt lock lever down.
4) Lower the outboard until the tilt lock lever
rests solidly on the stern brackets.
Disengage
1) Move tilt/run lever to RUN position.
2) Tilt the outboard UP.
3) Flip the tilt lock lever up.
4) Lower the outboard to operating position.
