Be sure that the axle is completely settled in the axle slots (1), retainer
washers are in place (2) and the axle nuts are torqued to 29.4–44NM (3).
PLEASE REFER TO TIRE PRESSURE (PG29)
BEFORE RIDING. INCORRECT TIRE PRESSURE
CAN LEAD TO REDUCED PERFORMANCE OR
CREATE A DANGEROUS RIDING EXPERIENCE.
Loosen the adjustment bolts (1) and carefully position the brake caliper on the
disc. A method to do this is to lightly hold the brake lever to center the brake
caliper on the disc. The disc is should be centered to the brake pads (2).
Tighten the bolts incrementally up to 12 NM. This can take a couple tries to
ensure the wheel spins freely and the disc does not rub. The brake caliper
mounting bolts (3) should always be securely tightened to the frame to 12
NM (4).
