DO NOT RIDE IN WET CONDITIONS
• Riding in wet conditions will signi cantly reduce grip. This may result
in the bicycle aquaplaning or sliding from under your feet or the wheels
slipping or sliding. It will also take longer for you to brake or stop. The risk
of a crash is dramatically increased in wet conditions.
• Your Evolve Bike may be able to withstand light rain and small splashes,
but is not designed to be subjected to inclement weather, extremely
heavy showers or submersion in water.
NOTE: Water damage is not covered under warranty.
If you must ride your bike after dusk or before full daylight, your bicycle must
be equipped with lights so that you can see the road and avoid road hazards:
and so that others can see you.
Vehicle laws treat bicycles as any other vehicle. That means you must have a
white front and a red rear light operating if you are riding after dusk or before
full daylight. Your bike dealer can recommend a battery or generator powered
lightning system appropriate to your needs.
The cable routing of the front and rear brake levers is dependant on region.
Ensure you are aware which brake is controlled by each lever before riding.
Any adjustments to the set up can result in an accident.
