BRAKE WEAR AND CARE
STORING YOUR BIKE AND BATTERY
Ensure the alignment of the brake pads with the disc and conrm that the
wheel is rmly pushed back. Proper alignment guarantees quiet operation
and normal pad wear. To extend the lifespan of brake components, prevent
contamination of pads and discs with greasy substances.
Regularly check the condition of your cables and the wear of your pads.
For enhanced ergonomics and safety, adjust brake levers to align naturally
with the user's arms.

recommend taking your bike to an E-bike specialist
or professional cycle mechanic.
Brakes are an integral part of the operation of your bike and must be properly
maintained, adjusted and replaced if necessary.
LUBRICATION
Your bicycle has many moving parts that are constantly exposed to the
elements. Cleaning and lubricating these parts will keep them running
smoother and longer. The following parts will need regular lubrication.
• Chain
• Brake control cables
Visually inspect the chain and all mechanical parts daily and lubricate as
necessary. Using standard chain lube periodically will keep your chain clean,
quite and functioning properly. Wipe away excess lube, grease and oil to
prevent dirt build up.
• Brake arch pivot
• Freewheel
Always store your Project BMX and battery indoors in a dry space, away from
heat, hot surfaces or ame sources and out of direct sunlight. Avoid magnetic
objects and ensure the room is ventilated.
• Hot or cold temperatures can permanently affect or damage your battery.
- Do not leave your board in a hot car, a hot environment or exposed
to other factors that may expose your board to high heat.
- Do not leave your board outside or an environment where freezing
temperatures may occur.
• If you will not be using your battery for a prolonged period of 1 MONTH
OR MORE, it is recommended to store your battery BETWEEN 20 AND
80% charge. Storage temperature should be kept in the following ranges.
1 MONTH: -20°C~60°C 3 MONTHS: -20°C~45°C 1YEAR: -20°C~23°C
• Your battery should be recharged if not used for 3months or more.
