Specific commands-Quick Reference Command Tree
Parameters The <value> parameter can be
➤ “MIN” (to set the FVA-3100 to the minimum setting for the
current wavelength)
➤ “MAX” (to set the FVA-3100 to the maximum setting for the
current wavelength)
➤ a valid attenuation value followed by the units [DB]. Note
that, depending on the current measurement mode, the
<value> parameter takes different values.
In Absolute mode:
In Reference mode:
In Offset mode:
Therefore, when in Reference or Offset mode, the range of
the accepted values for the <value> parameter will change
according to the current reference or offset value.
Example ATT –15.35 DB
Note This command cannot be issued while a program is running.
The ATT command is equivalent to the INP:ATT command.
Both give the same result.
