7.2.1 Elements (connectors).
Connector ·A22·. 24 V supply input.
3-pin male Phoenix combicom contact (7.62 mm pitch).
·Boot· button.
Software update.
·Reset· button.
Magazine reset.
Connector ·B32·. Sercos bus connection.
·IN· & ·OUT· connectors Honeywell emitter and receiver.
Selector ·S38·. Address (node) of the element within the bus.
Switch ·S39·. Sercos setting (baudrate and optical power).
Each one of the elements integrated into the Sercos bus is identified by
the 16-position rotary switch (0-15).
The CNC must always occupy position "0" and the rest of the elements
of the bus will occupy consecutive positions starting with 1. In order for any
change at this switch to be assumed, the module must be reset and the
CNC powered off and back on.
Switches ·1· and ·2· indicate the Sercos transmission speed (baudrate).
Switches ·3· and ·4· set the Sercos power or the intensity of the light going
through the optic fiber. Set these values with the same values used by the
CNC and the drives.

·3· ·4· Optical power depending on cable length (switches ·3· and ·4·).
Off Off 1 to 4 Cable shorter than 15 meters.
Recommended cable: SFO / SFO-FLEX
ON Off 5 to 6 Cable between 15 and 30 meters.
Recommended cable: SFO-FLEX
Off ON 7 Cable between 30 and 40 meters.
Recommended cable: SFO-FLEX
ON ON 8 Cable longer than 40 meters.
Recommended cable: SFO-V-FLEX
